Small
Oona

This is a smaller version of the Oona spout. Use it when you don't need to make a big splash. A well mannered flow without too much movement is what this spout provides. Don't expect any uncontrolled exuberance or loud outbursts from this one. The flow profile is very similar to the Oona, it's just smaller and can't move as much water.

Diminutive, friendly and elegant
This is a smaller spout resembling what's called a Lamb's tongue scupper which is commonly found on building walls to handle rain water. It can be used on a smaller swimming pool bond beam or an average sized wall fountain. The shape is nice round and friendly. If one was to accidentally bump into it, the incident would be forgotten - there shouldn't be any permanent scars.
In spite of it's small size it does tend to project water fairly far - almost the same distance as it's larger namesake the Oona. Please don't consider this part for use as a scupper for any sort of drainage, it's just too small to handle anything larger than 1 in. pipe.
Well Mannered flows
This spout is all about manners. The water flows out of the spout like water out of an pitcher. And I'm not talking about a beer pitcher! Rather one of the stoneware ewers commonly found next to a washbasin. You might catch sight of of one in a western. John Wayne would saunter up to the dresser and pour some water over his hands. For all his bravado even he understood there were times when water just needed to go where it was told and not splash around all over the place
There are time you'd want that in a fountain spout. The downside of being so well mannered is that it can become boring. The sound from a constant stream of water spilling into a pool can be monotonous. The further the water falls the louder the noise. It can end up sounding like … ahem … our cowboy hero in an abandoned airport bathroom at 3 AM after too many pitchers of beers with his cowboy buddies.
Use the spout in open spaces where you'd like some noise. If the quality of the sound is important then use three or more of these spouts. That will create some fluctiations and make the splashes more interesting and less mechanical.
Sisters
We have three versions of this spout. This one is the one in the middle. They are similar, but neither is a direct copy of the other. There are usually design or manufacturing constraints that drive a change. This one has a symmetric back plate and a slightly longer lip.
This one is here because of Micheal. He's a local landscape contractor. Anyhow, one day he and Bruce ( a Landscape Architect who I worked with for a bit) stopped by and Micheal said "you know... you should make a smaller version of this one." I already had a design and was thinking about making it. His comment just got me over the last hump. So, Micheal, this one is for you. Hope it meets your needs.

Details
- Part is made of silicon bronze
- It is designed to be used with ¾ in plumbing. The casting is threaded with 1 in female NPT. A PVC bushing ( 1 in male NPT × ¾ in socket) is provided to screw into back of spout. If you have a piece of PVC pipe sticking out from the wall you could just glue the part in place.
- A bonding lug for #8 AWG wire is provided at the back. A set screw at bottom of back plate secures the wire.
- Decorative use only. More secure mounting options available but they are expensive and complicated to install—call to discuss.
- The water arc changes if the spout is plumbed with a smaller pipe. It may distort in unexpected ways, particularly if the feed pipe isn't parallel to the center line of the spout. It's obviously not possible to move as much watew with a smaller pipe. Also, the flows will not match the ones listed on the flow chart
- Designed to be removable. Provided it's installed in a way that allows for this. Review the installation detail.
